This week I take a look at a book written by Dr. Rob Huizenga, the doctor you’ve seen on the competition weight loss reality show, Biggest Loser. It’s not actually a “fad diet” but I do consider the program to be a FLAWED diet.
We are exposed to a barrage of weight-related messages, admonishing us to “eat healthy,” get plenty of exercise, and lose weight if we know what’s good for us! Of course we know what’s good for us, in fact, the more we hear these messages, the more anxiety and stress it may bring into our lives if we’re not complying with everything we’re told we should be doing. Therein lies that pernicious flaw….
